CHRISTMAS DREAM COME TRUE FOR DISABLED GRANDMOTHER!

When MD of Hirsch’s, Richard Hirsch opened the door to let disabled Umlazi Grandmother, Mosley Myeza into her  beautiful newly made over home, the smile that lit up her face was bright enough to

light the whole of Umlazi on a dark night! She walked slowly through the house, aided by Richard and her family, taking in the amazing transformation to her new look home. 

The Hirsch Home Makeover team together with Prith Deenanath from Cleo’s Construction and plumber, Charles Abraham,   had spent the last three weeks turning the Myeza house, which had been in a state of neglect, into a comfortable, livable abode – in time for Christmas!   Other companies who came on board to help with the makeover were Majestic Beds, LG, Whirlpool, Elba, Sony, Kenwood, Tile Africa, Blinds Décor, RM Designs, Stylish Hardware, AEG, Nina's Nursery, RAS Caterers, Sharp and Edgars.

This is the fourth home in the last 4 years that Hirsch’s have chosen to give a massive facelift to.  The others were situated in Phoenix and Shaka’s Kraal,  and as with Mosley’s house, the Hirsch team and their team of suppliers worked around the clock  to paint, remodel and furnish the homes of the deserving recipients, in time for Christmas.

Lindiwe Ndaba, the neighbour who had put forward Mosley’s name for the makeover said that she had battled to live comfortably in her old home. “She had a stroke a few years ago and has really found it difficult to cope.  Hirsch’s and their team have given her a wonderful new lease on life!” she said.
